Midi controller to adjust Bass / Mid / Treble can these controls be linked?

As the topic asks, is there a way to link the bass / mid / treble controls to an external device on an Axe-FX II Mark II?

Been looking everywhere for a solution to this, and I turned to AI, (a couple of sources), they said it should be possible.

The method they were talking about was going into the amp block via edit, then long pressing the enter key to enter the modifier.

No matter what I do, I can't seem to do this.

I was on Ares 2.0, and I also rolled back to Quantum 10.01 to see if I could do it there, also without luck.

I guess the bottom line question is, if this is even possible? I've spent a whole day on this so far, and if not possible, then I'll give it up. The purpose is to control the bass / mid /treble from a Behringer X-Touch Mini. If we could get this going, it would be awesome.

I thought you were asking about Bass/Mid/Treble of the Amp block... But then you mentioned the Cab block.

Which are you trying to control?

You would need to assign midi CC numbers to some External Controllers.

Then assign the External Controllers as modifiers.

You need to click the controls. There's no "long press"...

Or are you using the front panel?

Thanks for picking up that typo... Yeah I mean the amp block.

So lets just say I am using Axe edit, and I go into the amp block, under the basic tab.

I notice there seems to be no way to link the bass / mid / treb to any external controllers.

This is possible for the Input Drive, level, balance and input trim, but not for the bass/mid/treble.
I don't see the linking emblem in the middle of the knob?

Am I missing something here, or is this just not possible?

I have been using an Axe Fx III for 6+ years... I thought there was ability to assign a modifier but based on the screenshot it appears not.

given they have been out for years i imagine you can find a iii for $1300usd or so.
In Europe its around €2000 MKI and 2250 for MKII
CHEAP? Nope, but you stop losing money after that purchase and gain only more goodies for free. It's A win-win nobrainer situation.
