Midi cable modification for FCB 1010

I understand there is a way to modify a midi cable so that it supplies power
from my Ultra to the Behringer FCB 1010. Can anyone enlighten me on how
this is done?

you have to modify more then just the cable if you want true phantom. if you can re wire a 5 way pickup selector you probably can handle the mod! google it there are many you tube videos and tutorials on this mod! if you can not find it let me know I have just bought a 3rd one from a local music store for 50 bucks and I will be performing this on it real soon, could take some pictures for you.
