Mic into AXE-FX

Hi,
This has probably been covered somewhere but I can't find it.
Is there any kind of vocal mic that can be directly connected to the AX input 2, i.e. with a built in pre-amp or a battery powered condenser mic of some sort? I just want to use the smallest most minimal gear possible. I have a mixer but I'm looking for something smaller...
Either way I also need to know how I should route in the signal so I can run reverb & delay on the mic signal as required too.

I assume any mic can be plugged in as long as you use a cable with a jack plug rather than an XLR on the end. use the Tube Pre amp sim if you need a pre-amp for the mic.

How do I route input 2 separately to input 1?
