Hey gang. Odd question perhaps, but I was wondering, has anyone ever Frankensteined a midi patch cable to run from the Midi Out of the MFC101 to power LED Light Strips, or done something similar?
I'm using the XL+ with the MFC101 MKIII using the FASLink connection, and was looking at my pedalboard one night when I was bored, wondering what I could do to it for fun. Since I'm using a Pedaltrain, I thought it might be cool to add a strip of LEDs under it to illuminate the floor, but I don't want to run another cable just to power the lights, and I'm not sure if I like the idea enough to go with a battery powered strip.
So, any thoughts/experiences/dangers?
