MFC wont start

Out of the blue after using my axe 2 with the MFC,conected with the ethernet cable (no adaptor) it worked great. the next day I turned the power on the mfc remains inactive. No lights blinkink nothing. I assume maybe i damaged it accidentaly by stepping on the tip of the cable by mistake, but i checked it and didnt find anything broken. Any ideas????
 
Tried the power supply instead of the Ethernet cable?
 
Also try another ethernet cable just to go sure.
Ethernet cables are cables produced in hell. Durability equals zero.
 
Never connect both the Power adaptor and the Ethernet cable at the same time when you are testing. That's 2 power sources.
 
bought today an adapter and conected a midi cable and everything seems perfect (phewwwwwww).The guy at the shop told that the port of the mfc seems a bit damaged
For I think Ill just keep playing with the midi and adapter.
