MFC patch changes with scene changes reflected in IA

Hi everyone,

I may be looking into buying an MFC101, but I would like to know if I can have 5 scene IA's (1,2,3,4 and 5) that can be toggled by a patch change on the mfc itself.

So: I want to select patch 51, which should default to scene 2, the board should reflect that. When I change to patch 52, it should default to scene 3, the board should reflect that, this behaviour for all the first 5 scenes, is that possible?

Cheers,
Michiel

When switching presets, scene 1 is always selected.

So if you like scene 3 to be the default, you have copy (or swap) scene 3 to scene 1.

Unless you use the custom mapping in the Axe:

I/O menu --> midi --> mapping mode: custom --> map from preset x to preset x scene 1-8

So I can't include something like a cc 34.2 in a patch change? And have scene selection AI buttons reflect this behavior?

I tried that. But it's not a reliable method, at least that's my experience.

Hi Yek, where was it unreliable? Switching to the scene? Showing the selected scene or both?

Hi Hubertus, sounds good! Will that reflect on scene AI's programmed on the board?

Don't remember exactly. Could have been it was too slow...

As Hubertus wrote, mapping is the way to go.
