I'm getting nowhere with the 'Error 13' message while updating my MFC Mark III. I'm running an M-Audio Minisport 2x2 midi interface which I've used many times in the past updating my MFC. I'm using Fractal-Bot to conduct the update. The update gets to 100% on the progress bar in Fractal-Bot and then up pops the 'Error 13' message on the MFC. I've tried another midi cable. I've tried both outputs, A & B on the M-Audio interface. I've re-downloaded the .syx file for the Mark III. I've changed the MIDI buffer delay settings in Fractal-Bot. But still no go. Does anyone have any other ideas I should try? I've hit the wall with ideas.
UPDATE - SOLVED!!
I finally got this sorted. I tried the alternative method of using the Axe FX as the MIDI interface rather than the M-Audio device. It worked the first time. Odd........ I'd used that M-Audio to update the MFC many times before. Anyway, all is good here. Now it's time to get some work done.
