metalcore tones?

I need a good tone or two to play stuff like veil of maya and for today. Clear and heavy for chugging, leads, and chords. Any ideas on what settings I should use? I'm brand new to the AXE and trying to figure it all out still

amp 5150
bass 7 mid 2 treb 5 gain 6-6.5 boost off bright off
pres 8-9.5
master 3.99 or lower
gate it and your done

I also like using the fas modern these settings wont work you will need more mids to hold it together same as the recto new

Great settings!
I like the Recto2 cab with it & lowered the gain a bit (5).

For a somewhat Mowgli-like tone add a GEQ with these settings:
