i turned the input down and it actually tamed the noise a little.
crappy thing is now i have to reset all of my gate-comp-drive perameters to compensate. on all of my presets, but i think its worth not getting that annoying noise.
the only thing i have an issue with is trying to get squeals and harmonics to ring out without getting that noise back.
but thats probably gonna go away with a little tweaking of the afformentioned perameters.

Here is another good metal/djent tone that I've been working with for a few.
Using the FAS Modern, some post EQ and also I set up an FX Loop out for recording dry guitar signal for later re-amping.
Please let me know your thoughts about this patch and others! Thanks!

see, i was thinking about a roundabout re-amp. just going straight into the Preamp (Focusrite saffire pro 24) then going direct out with that channel into the input and output back into the 2nd channel. monitor the reamped signal but record the other one dry.
i wouldnt have to change any cords around when i reamp for real,
but it sounds like a huge pain in the A.
so i like your version better, haha

Here is a new 5150 djent preset I have been dialing in for a few. I'm very happy with it so far, feel free to let me know what you all think or even upload revisions of this preset!

Russell - Nice tone bro. Swapped the cab to the V30 model and af few minor tweaks ( to my taste ) and Im digin it.
