Mesa Mark V Footswitch

I promise I tried to search to see if this question was already asked and answered but I could not find anything besides a thread discussing latching.

I have a Mesa Mark V Switch. I am noob. Is there a way to make this control my XL+?

I just realized this footswitch is not a midi footswitch, as i had thought. mods are free to delete this.
