Meredith Cunningham is amazing

I ran across her while looking at the JHS site. She has a signature vibrato pedal. All of her stuff is quite fantastic. And her guitar playing is super interesting.

I literally just started reading an interview in one one guitar mags from a couple years ago (I'm behind on my reading ).

Her newest release is great. Interesting production, instrumentation. I first heard about her 2 years ago on a Home Skoolin' video
with Gordon Mote. The stuff she plays on guitar while singing those melodies is ridiculous. Tunes her guitar down to C.

From the interview I read she also uses a lot of open tunings...

Her style, to me, suggests that she uses open tunings. It was kind of coincidental that when I first heard her and heard that she tuned her guitar
to a C tuning, i'd also been listening to the Brothers Landreth and Joey also tunes to an open C.
