meloaudio midi commander - latest firmware setup file needed

I'm interested in getting the SCN-7 as that's what I need for the Ableton M4L device. How did you get SCN-7, by installing the contents in the DFU Package SCN 7D zip file?
In the Wayback Machine, Newest Scene Mode can't be downloaded... I wonder if this SCN-7D firmware update is it

Hi, I just bought a MeloAudio Midi Commander 2nd hand off FB Marketplace and my PC won’t recognize it. I want to use it on my PC only for looper and Amp sim control.
Q. I can’t find a firmware update anywhere but I see you posted 2 above. Will either of them fix my problem?
I tried "C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\Software\DfuSe v3.0.6\Bin\Driver" but it said 'Best Driver is already still showing Unknown Device on Win 11.
Also If anyone has a copy of the Momentary Control (MOME) Firmware package, I'd be very grateful for a share as it's a dead link in WayBack Machine.
The momentary control mode can be downloaded, you need to be on the April 2023 capture on the top right corner. Also, try pressing and holding D and /SET (Down) and then power the MIDI Commander on

Just got a used MeloMidi and struggled with the DFUdemo pro detecting it on my PC - & couldn't find how to update the driver..
Finally tried it on my laptop (Windows 10) and with a fresh install of DFUdemo first, I ran the programme. Then plug in the USB while holding down the D and /SET buttons ( not the D&E button as the instructions say ) and straight away the DFU prog found it and I was able to flash the ALLCC # firmware to replace the Atom settings.
I've now got latching CC# 1-8 (buttons 1234,ABCD) with 8 pages to give me up to 64CC#.
The buttons 'latch' when pressed eg Press button 1 on page 1, sends CC# 1, 127 and lights up the LED.
Taking your foot off the button changes nothing. Pressing the button again sends CC# 1, 0 and turns off the light.
If you want to set a Tap button, (eg for setting the tempo) that can be done manually in one of the Custom modes, just set the 'Key Toggle' parameter to Off, then each 'tap' of the button sends CC# X, 127.
Unfortunately once the ALLCC flash is made, you can't edit individual buttons on that patch so if you wanted a 'tap' button you would have to reproduce the whole patch manually - not too long really - using the CUST1 or 2 option -possibly someone can make a firmware for it.

Hello! I hope you’re doing well. If anyone has successfully configured it, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the configuration details or a link here in the forum.
I would like to use the ABCD and 1234 switches to change the sequences and have the /CHG and /SET switches to change the presets.

Thank you so much for your help! :)

Not sure if it would help in what you are wanting to accomplish, but I have most the software saved for this, from 2022. I have the firmware, newest scene mode, scene mode for AxeFx 3, windows dfu program, and the manual. I can make a Dropbox for this if anyone still wants or needs it!
Got a used one coming. Would greatly appreciate those files. Email is jodyforeman@gmail.com if you would like to share them. Thank you!

Has anyone had luck with this recently? I should have done more research, didn't realize this was now completely unsupported. I was just looking for something cheap to audition AXE FX III stuff before transferring to my FM9 live rig. I'm on Windows 11 and can't get it to even recognize it. I installed the program from the wayback machine link. I've tried holding down D&E and D&Set. Do I need to dig up an d old Windows 8 machine?
