MeloAudio EXP-001 expression pedal?

Has anyone used a MeloAudio EXP-001 expression pedal? Im looking for a cheapish lightweight small footprint expression pedal (to supplement an EV-2) and these seem to meet my criteria. Are they good quality, robust and reliable?

Umm, the Meloaudio EXP=001 is an expression pedal!

Yeah, I know. This is embarrasing, but I can't program once I get to the "Custom" settings,
to get the correct heel/toe volume from the pedal. It's set for my Axe-Fx Ultra.

I have the Midi commander, and it shoes on the input, but I can't operate anything on CC channel 16
(which shows ) once I get to that page. The basic manual isn't all that informative.
