Matrix NL12 and GT1000FX - Should I go 8 or 16 ohm for on the NL12?

I'm getting ready to order an NL12 and GT1000FX, but I'm wondering if I should be going for the 16 ohm or 8 ohm version. The Matrix website suggests the 16 ohm version.

I initially plan on only playing through the NL12, but I may eventually get an FRFR speaker and maybe a wedge as well. Would I be better suited with the 8 ohm version in that case?

16....with the 8 ohm u might overload the speakers with gt1000fx

Definitely 16, in case you decide to add another to make them 8 ... wiggle room.

Matrix recommends 16.

I am using two 8 ohm NL12s. They sound great and I have not had any issues to date.
