Matrix considering 2x12 Vertical FR cab, nice!!!

I saw a vertical 2x12 powered FRFR cabinet on Matrix Amp's Facebook page, thought I would pass it on as I haven't seen it here and recalled several asking about 2x12 FRFR cabs.

This certainly has sparked my interest Matt... . Any info on (expected) passive vs active differences; do you expect these to perform virtually the same with a GT1000 driving them?

They sound great either way.
The passives can be driven the the GT1000FX, which will sound the same as the actives being driven with the internal module. If you already have the GT1000FX a pair of these should let your neighbours enjoy your playing.

yes you keep the cab sims on.. these are FRFR cabs..

Hi there,
Yes there are issues with FRFR 2x12. You can hear the effect on the sound by stacking 2 coax 1x12's side by side and walking across in front of them.

Thought this couldn't be done?
