Just wanted to share this old clip, he ended up in a Finnish power metal band Stratovarius shortly after appearing in this "guitar competition". I just love his picking attack and incredible accuracy, and also the sense of epic of melody (which cannot be found in this clip though... 
) Also, he's an Axe user nowadays.
