This is a new idea I began this past weekend to get to know Logic Pro X...maybe for for the next Hectic Watermelon album. All guitars and bass are direct into Fractal Audio Axe FX II XL+. Most gtrs are setup variations on Dee Cee 30/Matchbox D-30 with either gritty gain (approx. light ToneFreak Albunai) or with Zen Drive (approx. XTS Precision OD. The chorus overdriven melody is Bludojai LD. Superior Drummer grooves. I look forward to arranging and tracking with live drums, proper bass player...adding solos, etc. Pretty fresh off the presses, but I hope you enjoy.

Thank you, I love how much definition and articulation there is in the Axe II XL+ in these hard to nail mid gain tones. I did a remix last night and was excited at how much tone is in there to work with without worrying about reamping as well.

Thank you, I have always dug how Morse/Dregs would blend country riffs/idioms with funk and rock. They're not the only ones to do this, but the ones that influenced me the most by a country mile.

That's what I thought but couldn't think of Steves early band - yeah, that's it: reminds me on Dixie Dregs. Great playing and arrangement by the way.
