Marshall Lead tone

The first clip sounds much more raw, which has its own charm. Second clip through the Axe Fx internal cab engine sounded much more processed, as if it were studio recorded, both have its own places.

I thought I detected a hint of Vinnie Moore influence in some of the climbing arpeggios and hybrid picking. Keep jamming!

Nice tone but matrix has always that middy coke can tone I don't like. :)
I had the same problem until I switch to a tube amp...

so what are u using now ? .... problem with power tubes amps is they re so freakin heavyyyyyyyy

Yes too heavy but they sound good!
Now i'm using a peavey 50 50.
Nice transparent amp with resonance and Presence control that are very useful for tweeking a little bit your tone according to the location you are playing in...

Very nice (I need to learn to hybrid pick)
I went to a Fryette 2/50/2 and like it much more than the matrix as well.
Now I'm using the loop of my mark IV and it kills :)

I m pretty happy with my matrix ... pretty sure a real tube power amp would sound better but still, too heavy to carry it around :)
