Has anyone successfully recreated the Marshall bass amp circuit? Is it as simple as removing the bright cap and something else? I am hoping Cliff could weigh in and answer a simple way to accomplish this.

Having said that, the OH post on releasing the celestion 25 55hz IR may have something to do with encouraging me to ask this :)

Check schematic heaven for example.
Some times I have seen a larger coupling cap from the phase
splitter. 100nF instead of 22nF. I have also seen 27kohm feedback resistor
even from the 8 ohm section. Instead of 47-100kohm from the 4 ohm tap.
But there are lots of versions. I have also seen a common cathode resistor for
both input stages 820 ohms with a large cap across (220 uF or something).
Also the 2,2 nF cap from one of the first inputstages is changed to 22nF like
the other input stage.
