Marshall 1987x compression issue

I am running a patch using the Bright input on the Marshall 1987x model. I have it set pretty clean (think Bryan Adam's Cuts like a knife tone). But when I dig into the strings, it really compresses for a second and then releases and the volume comes back in. Now this is something this amp does, but it is just too much. I am not running any other compression or drive pedals. Are there any parameters I can adjust that would reduce this amount of compression. I am using a stratocaster into the AX8

It sounds like you need to lower the Power Supply Sag parameter.

I am going to try that now. I don't really know what a lot of those other parameters really do, so I try not to mess with them too much!

You could also try lowering Transformer Match from say 1 to something like .8 or .9..

Did a little of both. Reduced the sag from 1.37 to 0.60 and lowered the transformer match to 0.9. Seems to be working much better. That style of amp compresses, that is just how it works, but at least now it is much less noticeable to my ears. Thanks you to both of your for your help.
