Marshall 1936 Cab with Axe 2

Sorry for ignorance but I've got an almost new Marshall 1936 with a virtually unused JMD50 head. Thing is I keep seeing how people use a real cab with the Axe. At the moment I'm using a QSC K12 but want to know can I plug my Axe into the 1936, disable the cab and use it like that? Many thanks for any help

You'll need a power amp for that or use the JMD as power amp.

Or if you have a loop you can use your JCM power amp.
