I pulled up a mix I used in a 'music minus one' live scenario and played the solo against it. Did quite a bit of tweaking for my Charvel Model 6 (this was tough to get all the crap out I didn't like), then tried to remember the solo. Not perfectly played, but I like what came out of it. The track was already mixed, so the solo isn't melted into it very well, and the mix is a bit mashed now. Put my trusty OD3 into the nose of the AxeFx, which has a BB Pre also. Did no eqing, only a UAD Fatso on the track. Whacha think?

Correct - I set the drive at 0, level at 10 o'clock, tone at 1 o'clock.

I had the BB Pre in it (see above). There's no OD-3 modeled, and I love it. Played with one for a couple years now. I like the way it shaped the tone compared to w/o.
