I've had my Axe II since mid-July and have thoroughly enjoyed the daily eargasms it's provided me. However, last night I fired up my Axe II as I usually do, plugged in my guitar, and struck an E chord...awaiting sonic delight. What - no sound? no input lights? Nothing. What the hell happened?
I check my guitar connection. I check the input connection. I scurry around the back of my desk to check all other connections. I open up Audio/Midi setup on my Mac and and the Axe Fx shows up as an audio device. I grab another guitar cable and try again. Nothing. I grab another guitar and try again. Nothing.
Then it clicked. I was doing some reamping the night before and had the input set to USB. D'oh...I never changed it back. Sonic heaven is mine again!
