Mackie HD1531

Since it's OT to my other thread about Atomics as a backline, I'm going to throw this one out there.

Tosin Abasi of Animals as Leaders, whose tone and playing I respect, is ditching his VHT 2/50/2 and Orange/G-Flex 4x12's for these: http://www.mackie.com/products/hd1531/

I've been thinking for a while that 3-ways would be best... only because of my general audiophile snobbery... so as long as the crossover networks are good, the drivers are good, and this is a respectable class D amp, it seems like this would be a good box. They outsourced some design work and the drivers to EAW, which seems like a win. I don't think there's any DSP in this box, despite the 3-band EQ on the back?

Any opinions? My only complaint would be the weight.

EDIT: Good God, I was so wrong. http://www.mackie.com/products/hdseries ... LAINED.pdf
