Looper on/off?

I'm curious why there is an on/off for the looper. I don't notice a tone difference with it on or bypassed. So why would you need to us an IA spot for this function? Just curious if I'm missing something? 8)
 
Maybe to erhh i guess......hmmm good one. Maybe so there is a seperate control from the function switches. For me i have no idea.
 
U might be sending the looper out to another output, and might need to bypass the output not to have signal keep on going through...for me its also not necessary to have the looper bypass button, thats the only reason i could think where it could be handy
