Last week I was playing with my looper. In this particular patch it was set to record unlimited beats and quantize set to 4/4.
I just started recording and dubbing. On the 3 dub the sound began to crack. When I continued the fx8 screen lost its digits and the fx8 fan(or something!) began to make noise. I quickly turned my fx8 off!
I have to analyse this some more. It could be it was because I had connected the fx8 to my usb mixer which was connected to my mac. The fx8 was also connected to fx-edit with usb. So maybe groundloop issues or something???
I now use beats set to 8 and I don't have issues anymore. (used the looper 3 times now but not extensively)
