I'm running the looper block in parallel and my recorded loops are much quieter than the input signal. When you try to equalize none of the levels will go above 0dB. No modifiers on any parameters and this is 1.15
Hey Chris. Perhaps "Balance" is what I'm looking for. It's very quick to find in Axe Edit, but buried in the mix tab of the looper block on the AxeFx. Anyways, here's the preset.
You only have the Ten-Tap Delay connected to Looper, while Delay 2 is an extra live signal path.
Try setting Looper level back to 0 dB. Then add a path from Delay 1 through a shunt into Looper. This assumes you avoided a Delay 2 - Looper connection because you didn't want any of Delay 2's wet sound recorded by looper.
Setting the Ten-Tap mix to 100% might make the signal flow easier to visualize. Then you only have one dry path to looper (the shunt) and one for your live dry signal (the dry portion of Delay 2's output). This step isn't necessary for the suggestion above to work though.
