Hey there !
Been a while, as usual... but back with a recording live in the studio !
Guitars are amps mic'ed up (Vox concert 100 on an Orange PPC412 and two Verellen Loucks custom on two Soundcity 4x12), and bass is Axe-FX II !
Could have reamped the guitars in the Axe-FX, we took DIs just in case, but wasn't necessary, the SM57 did a great job anyway.
The chain for the bass looks like this : Compression => Drive block (Ruckus with about 0.25 drive or so, and 65% mix) => GEQ
No cab whatsoever, and some more compression and EQ with Steven Slate plugins in Cubase.
The Verellen cab under the Axe-FX was just used to have some low end feel in the room.
