Rigs for Alex Feder, Mike Shinoda, and Dave Farrell, under the talented eye of Ben Young, are recreating some of the most iconic rock tones of the 2000s and smashing an arena near you to pieces. Alex and Mike's rigs live in one side-by-side rack, while the bass rig is on its own next door.

All preset and scene changes are automated via Abelton playback. There is some seriously cool stuff happening in the automation session.

So weird not to read Brad Delson, which shows my age and earlier fandom lol.

I watched the Rig Rundown the other day, that is some serious automation going on. Far more than someone triggering preset changes from a Macbook. One of the few Rig Rundowns that went over my head pretty quickly, there's so much gear utilized in running that show I've never even heard of.

While I don't dig all their tunes, I always respected how Shinoda was basically a producer who happened to play in a band and I certainly appreciate the 'anything goes' aspect of his outlook on things.

Where is the rig rundown video?
 
I wonder what is going on with Out 4 here? I assume out 1 and 2 probably feed FOH and IEM. I could understand if this was running to a power amp and feeding a stage cab, but the video said they were using all in-ears and no stage cabs. Any ideas what is going on with that pre-cab out? It looked like all of the patches were set up like that.
