Linkin Park Fractal Audio Tone Tour

Sounds like the Guitar Tech could play the show if needed.....
Ben has in fact subbed in on guitar many times, actually.
Another Fractal artist just texted me the other day after seeing this video and said "Ben is the best tech I've ever had -- by far."
Ben's incredible CV is no mistake -- it's a serious ace in the hole to have a tech this knowledgeable who is not only this good on the Fractal but is also a pro-level player.

Kudos to Ben for agreeing to explain this in such detail. You can tell he's good by the fact that he gets massive tones out of relatively simple block layouts.

This was an awesome video. This would be another preset pack I’d buy just to learn how they do stuff.

Interestingly for me, the Rig I sold to buy my Axe FX II in 2012 was the Randall MTS stuff. I had the head which was 100 watts and took 3 modules. I had it running 34’s & 6L6’s . I eventually went from that to the preamp as it could house 4 modules. I tended to use the XTC (Bogner Ecstacy) Mr Scary (George Lynch module like a beefed up 800) the 1086 (Dan from Disturbed module) and an Ultra XL which sounded mostly like a 5150. I had a Recto Module and something else I don’t recall. when I went to the preamp I used my 5150 for power and a Boss GT Pro for fx and cleans. Playing Nu Metal (with a touch of heavy rock) originals, this rig killed. I got tons of compliments from nationals on the tone.

It really was a cool concept from Bruce Egnater but they always sounded just a bit sterile. I read often times that simple mods just brought them to life. A
