Line 6 Releases the Helix | 2015-06-11 | Premier Guitar
An old former band mate emailed this to me this morning. The press release is nearly a month old, but I'd not heard of the Helix previously - not that it matters as I don't pay much attention to this stuff nowadays anyway. Still, the statement below from the release has me a tad skeptical. I realize these things are often peppered with marketing fluff, but I'm guessing an objective side by side comparison may not support such a claim.
Obviously, folks should use what works best for them regardless of cost or capability. However, I've used L6's top shelf gear in the past and, while certainly usable, I'm inclined to think this new L6 gizmo isn't in the same league as the Fractals.
