Let's see those FM9 rigs!

Question for everyone - I had seen on a post somewhere about getting power from the FM9 to power a wireless, and can't remember where I saw it, there was even a catchy name for it - fracpower or something?

I'd like to do it, but tried searching the forums with no luck...

I've got a Line6 G50 and was going to upgrade to a Shure GLXD16+

Any help would be appreciated!

I thought about going down that road but started adding other devices to power and decided to go the Cloks route instead. It was a tad bit more expensive but in my opinion well worth it.

My board has stayed mostly unchanged for the last six months but I decided to clean it up a little more inspired by @Jazzmaster1414's fresh setup. I broke out the single power split plus patchbay box that I had built to a pair of separate enclosures, screwed the FM9 down to the board, and finally built some custom length midi cables. This setup is rock solid now!

What's the "midi box"?

What's the "midi box"?
It’s a Chase Bliss box for controlling their pedals with midi via the 1/4” jacks in the side. I had it laying around and am repurposing it as a pass-through for sending a set of commands from the MC6 out to Ableton.

Connect a midi cable to that which goes out to a playback/click/iem rack.

chance you could share the innerds of that power patch box? Ive always done a powercon with 2 IEC cables on the terminals.

That's so clean. Very cutesy. Very demure (or have the kids already stopped using that expression ?).

I'd like to do something like this, with just enough room for FM9, my wireless and my expression pedal. But every time I try, it just ends up looking like a hastily packed suitcase.

That’s what I had done previously. This is essentially the same concept, but instead of iec cables going to the powercon terminal it’s two sets of 16 gauge 300V wire that each go out to a conxall mini connector that looks like an xlr connection.

Here's the latest iteration of the FM9 + pedals.
For the eagle eyed among you, there aren't any connections wired into the 2290 (except power). It's just decoration while it's waiting to be a part of a different build, but I didn't like the empty space and had some out of state dates to play over the weekend.

I previously had a Drop under the riser, but never really used it so it got moved along.

How did you attach the Mission Pedal?
I've have 2 Mission EP-1s and 2 EV-2s on my board (originally it was 4 EP-1s).

I attached them by using the rubber feet as "washers" and use the original screws to mount thru the board.

You will only get 3 at most but that works fine.

For the EV-2s I used the medium Temple mounting plates.

I use two Medium plates for the EV-2s - one near the heel and one near the toe - to avoid the thing rocking back and forth and any flex-related issues. The Mission wah controller has a Medium and two Small ones, if memory serves....
