Let's hear about the Yamaha DXR10s please

I got the 12s, good sound, good value, a bit boxy/boomy...nothing that can't be dialed out though. Good solution until I get some extra coin for CLRs.
 
Not what you asked for... but:

I tried the DSR115 once. I turned it up. It was like being hit by a train. My pair of 2x12 powered by Mesa 50/50 do not give that punch. Serious punch and depth.

Tonewise: This was the first FRFR type i tried, so nothing was tuned for that setup. FW6 i think... I would like to try it again. 2 of those...
But a seriously heavy weight to carry around.

Never tried any from the DXR series..
 
I picked up a dxr10 about a week ago. I am very happy with it.
Used it friday and it hung with a loud drummer easily.
Very compact and light. I wanted something i could use at home and playing out and it shines in both situations. I may go ahead and get another one.
