...what a cool tune this turned out to be...entitled, Swingset, it has 14 tracks...at first, I was going for a My Bloody Valentine/warm glowing, whiskey in the gut, wall of distortion, blendy kind of thing...then a nod to Pat Metheny found it's way in there :p ...then a crunchy/surf combo solo :cool: ...an ice cream sundae and then back to sleep...mixing this was tough...it's time I graduated from GarageBand to Logic Express! ;)

...it sounds really good through my monitors, but there are a lot of things I don't understand as far as getting the types of sound(s) I'm going for...also, after uploading to myspace, the mix is compressed in such a way that I get annoyed... :twisted:

...the aif file sounds great... ;)

...I do all the drum programming using Apple loops...I chop-up the phrases I like...I have also downloaded some hip/hop loops from Synthetic Beats...on some tunes, the drums are quite elaborate...on others...not so much :lol: ...
