Latency with wah response

Hey I am using a Mission SP-1 to control wah and I find there’s a lot of latency for the response of the wah engaging and then disengaging when I’m done, it’s pretty bad.
I was wondering if my TRS cable might be too long, it’s about 3-4 feet long.
If that’s not it then any ideas maybe I might have some settings wrong in my FM3 maybe the quickness of the response is a setting in there somewhere?

What Auto Engage set to? I find Med Spd works for me.

What's the CPU level on the preset? If it's above 80% non-audio functions will start to suffer performance loss.

I prefer 'Fast Pos'. But more importantly, I set auto-engage to 95% (toe down=Off) instead of the default 5% (heal down=Off).

• It turns Off at toe down, sort of like traditional Wahs. Minus the switching action, of course
• It's less likely to get bumped, or move from vibration from the sound system Subs, and accidentally activated.
• I typically don't spend much time at the extreme high end of a Wah's range, so it's less likely to shut off on me while in use, than the extreme low end of it's range.

Yeah I prefer toe down for off as well. Feels more natural for wah.
