I have a PRS McCarty that I’m looking to swap pickups in from the standard 58/15 that it comes with. Don’t get me wrong they are excellent PAF style pickups but not suited well for what I want to play on that guitar.
I am going for more of that ambient/P&W style where I can have ultra clear clean tones but I still need it to handle overdrive well for lead/solo.
I have basically narrowed it down to these 2 sets so any input from those who have played or heard these in person would be greatly appreciated.
