Just Updated Axe FX 2 with MFC connected

Just Updated Axe FX 2 to 15.05 with MFC connected. Did I screw it up? I thought I remember reading somewhere to disconnect the MFC when updating the Axe FX firmware.

I have a patch with no Flanger that the MFC indicates has a Flanger. Should I reinstall the latest MFC firmware?

They do recommend not having the MFC attached, but if the Axe didn't brick you're safe.

For many years i've always updated with the mfc connected and i've never had a problem. I find it a bit odd lol

But it CAN brick the AXII. That's why they don't recommend it.

I have forgotten to disconnect the MFC several times. Fortunately for me there was no bullet in the chamber when I did (whew)!
