not wanted to match a tone or come close or something, it's just about the mid-overdriven tones.
They are possible even with the old axefx (played with my LesPaul guitar here)

Standard PUs (don't know what is in there, as long as it sounds okey to me I don't care) - its a Signature (Made in Japan) Quilt-Maple honey top LesPaul - made by the same factory which did the Orville by Gibson and Epiphone Elitist Series. What a beauty - in both look and tone - - strunged with 011-049 flatwound strings (i love flatwound strings since 1997)
