The thing I was battling was that no one in the band besides me was alive when this song was released. They learned it quickly and did a pretty good job, but got lost a little bit on some of the melodies and harmonies.
One Fractal tip: If you are going to use Auto-Engage on a Wah block, you don't need to turn the Wah Block on...ever. Leave the block off. The effect will still be triggered when you rock your wah pedal. If you also turn the wah block on (through scene change or CC) you'll hear it filter right away, which may physically precede the passage where you need to use the wah effect. If you leave it off, you'll only get wah when you operate the expression pedal, but not before.
