Did you try placing the Tube Pre block in front of other amp blocks with amp modeling ON ,out of curiosity? I'm getting some Vai-esque tones with this.Isn't this sort of what the "Tube Pre" type amp block does with the Power Amp simulation turned off or am I misunderstanding how that works?
Seems to work for testing out sounds but is a waste of a full amp block.

Here's Jason's (Headfirst Amplification) take on the Jose mod.
He moves the 2.2n to the first stage and 22n to the second, everything else is the "stock" Jose mod.
No zener diodes, MV post tonestack, probably the most common Jose mod according to Friedman.

That would be amazing! Dave Friedman has basically consolidated all the Jose mods that he saw over the years into one single amp. Considering the number of high profile guitarists that used Jose's mods, I think this amp warrants a place among Fractal's amp models....or maybe Cliff could just get his hands on that new Friedman Jose amp and include that...
