Wish Jose Arredondo Additional Preamp Tube Mod

Isn't this sort of what the "Tube Pre" type amp block does with the Power Amp simulation turned off or am I misunderstanding how that works?
Seems to work for testing out sounds but is a waste of a full amp block.

Two years have already passed, I'm not sure if this request will ever make it. Maybe Cliff's stance is that we can already do this with the tools available in FW 23...

Did you try placing the Tube Pre block in front of other amp blocks with amp modeling ON ,out of curiosity? I'm getting some Vai-esque tones with this.

How close BRIT BROWN is to the original Jose mod?
How hard is it for Fractal to add a 12ax7 gain stage to their 1959 Super Lead model?

From the wiki:

Here's Jason's (Headfirst Amplification) take on the Jose mod.
He moves the 2.2n to the first stage and 22n to the second, everything else is the "stock" Jose mod.
No zener diodes, MV post tonestack, probably the most common Jose mod according to Friedman.

Source (a must watch):

I think the Brit Brown model does what is being requested here (at least close enough). When I compare it to other Plexi models, it adds significantly more gain (definitely an additional gain stage) and the Jose mods and some internal filter/tone shaping mods. Sounds very close to the early VH and Vai tones to my ear needing the least amount of extra tweaks to get there. May be my favorite plexi model now with the latest FW.

That would be amazing! Dave Friedman has basically consolidated all the Jose mods that he saw over the years into one single amp. Considering the number of high profile guitarists that used Jose's mods, I think this amp warrants a place among Fractal's amp models.
or... getting back to the original request of this thread... maybe Cliff could just take inspiration and put those few mod options into the advanced amp parameters so that any amp model could be "Jose'd" (l think I just came up with a new phrase ;) ) ...
