Jonez Tonez Anyone??

I've been building patches of some of my fave players' tones. I've managed a couple tasty ones - Grohl, Steph Carpenter, Keef (circa Some Girls), Tony Rombola - but I'm having a bugger of a time trying to nail Adam Jones of Tool. So far, using a Super Lead with the bright cap off in addition to the Das Metal - parameters tweaked - flanger up front, dd and reverb off the back...

Any insights??

Was hoping I could do this one on my own, I'm close, but not quite there yet (and ya, I've really worked the 'weird mids' he so loves!).

EDIT: As per my patch thus far, the Marshall is going into a 4x10 bass cab, the Das Metal, the German Boutique 4x12, FWIW

Here's my recent attempt if anyone is interested. Select amp Y in the X-Y Quick Controls. Using a custom IR made from doing a match EQ with the song Vicarious.

yeah thats pretty close. there is something in the original jones sound which kind of twangs the high end open when the strings are played hard. a great example of this is in rosetta stoned at 10:28 in. That sound is missing from your patch, but very good though.
