Joe Satriani / Steve Morse concert last night

Denver show at the Paramount was awesome. Unfortunately, someone decided that Steve needed to go on early to make the rest of the schedule work out, and so we missed the first couple tunes, which didn't make me happy. Also, the mix rather sucked for Steve's band...it was actually a little hard to hear his guitar, even though we were in the first third of the floor, and Paramount sound is usually pretty good. Mix was much better for Satriani. I thought they both played an outstanding show, but Joe's definitely got the edge for showmanship and overall delivery.
 
Yes, Steve's set was too short in Midland also, and i could barely hear his guitar till they got it better right before he quit.
Joe's set was very good. Mike Keneally really was a great addition to the band.
