Jeff Beck - Upp?

Ok, I know some of you guys are older than dirt (I'm merely the same age as dirt ) and may already be familiar, but I just learned of Jeff Beck with the band Upp... Interesting stuff!

Upp was a British rock-jazz fusion band, active in the 1970s. The group was originally going to be called 3 UPP, and consisted of Stephen Amazing, Andy Clark and Jim Copley. David Bunce joined on guitar for the second album. Wikipedia

As a long time JB fan I'm embarrassed not knowing this. Sounds a lot like the stuff on Blow By Blow released just a year later.

I thought to I can’t remember but I think Jan Hammer was on the blow by blow album And if he wasn’t I went to a concert and saw Jeff Beck with Jan hammer “Amazing“ I just don’t remember which one it was.

Blow by Blow is the second album released under the name "Jeff Beck". It was recorded in October 1974 and released via Epic Records in 1975. A purely instrumental album, it peaked at No. 4 on the American Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
