Every company has a dog here and there. One guitar with an issue doesn't mean they all have issues. Mine don't.

Sure but the whole forum experience is often anecdotal. It's just my limited experience. I don't have a ton of money to own and truly demo a bunch of guitars. What number would you consider representative?

I’m a tech 35 years full time. Minimum sample would need to be pretty large. At least 50.

I love the necks on Charvels but hate how all the new ones have recessed Floyds. I think the MIJ models have top mount Floyds but then you also get the strat style jack on top too unfortunately.

What's issue with recessed? They also make guitars with the Gotoh 510 but also recessed.

I've been playing Floyds since they first came out and I like to rest my hand on the bridge when playing. Recessed ones are too low and feel weird to me.

The string hight off the body is the same as a fender. Do all strats and teles feel weird?
