For sure the last few firmware versions have removed the curse of deep editing

BTE and some low cuts in amp & cab blocks.

For certain sounds PreEQ in amp block.

The rest is IR

Don't play high gain and only 6 strings and for me Q9.00 is easier in the mix. Low cut seems needed to get little less muddy.

I was always one to try every setting on whatever processor I was using but since buying an AXE a little over
a year ago I mostly just adjust reverb, drive and delay settings. I would guess that I have never tried 80%
or more of the available settings. Unlike anything else I have ever used, it is hard to get a bad sound from the AXE.
