Issue with X and Y states of an amp block

I'm seeing the X and Y state of amp block 1 randomly switch after a couple minutes. Is there some"modifier" value I need to check, because this is really weird.
 
Do you have a foot controller connected?

Disconnect it first and see if it goes away.

You have axe edit connected? Or are connected to a PC? Drop that connection too and see if it goes away

I disconnected my MIDI controller, an older Boss GT 100, and the problem went away. Is there a cc# that corresponds to switch X/Y state on an amp?
 
Yeah, but you'll have to check your cc values setup to see what it is on the axe....everyone will likely have a different value setup for their needs.

I've had a problem before where a transport controller was randomly sending midi data....causing all sorts of problems....had no idea what was causing it though.
 
The board was randomly sending a cc message. I disabled X/Y cc switching in Axe Fx II and that solved the problem. I only use the Axe Fx II for recording so it's no big deal
