I am wanting to utilize a Morningstar MC6 Pro with my FM9.
I am currently using a WIDI Jack to wirelessly connect the FM9 (via 5 pin MIDI) to my Mac in order for Ableton to send MIDI cues for scene switching. I have also set up a layout on the FM9 that can control Ableton tracks (play/stop, etc).
This has been great so far but I am wanting a bit more flexibility with Ableton as well as more flexibility with block control on the FM9. This is where I think the MC6 Pro that has been collecting dust could play a role.
Is it possible to use the WIDI uHost plugged in to the MC6 Pro to wirelessly forward MIDI information from my Mac as well as the MC6 Pro to the FM9?
For example,
Bluetooth from Mac > MC6 Pro via WIDI uHost
Bluetooth from MC6 Pro via WIDI uHost > FM9 via WIDI Jack
Or would I need to bluetooth from Mac > MC6 Pro Via WIDI uHost then 5 pin MIDI din from MC6 Pro to FM9?
