Is it ok to just power axefx down with axe edit running?

OK this might be a dumb question but often I'll fire up axefx and axe edit throw together a quick patch jam for 10 minutes then just shut the power switch off on the axefx first and then close out axe edit on my pc. No saving or anything.

Is that cool?

Yes, it's fine. Axe-Edit will complain about the connection being lost and that's it. Any unsaved changes to the current preset will, of course, be lost when you power down the hardware.

I recently had an issue where Axe-Edit was having issues reading cab/amp info from the FX, but another user pointed out that it could be related to the USB cable. That seemed to have solved the issue.

Running out of ideas as to why at the time, I thought powering down while running could have been the culprit. I think you're OK though.
