Is a 4x10 cab enough..

For most gigs?

My (my wife's) current setup for bass is:
SR505-->Korg DTR-200-->Sans Amp RBI-->Matrix GT800FX-->Genz Benz 600w 4x10.

This will be used in our hardcore band alongside my drummer and AxeFx guitar rig which is powered by a Mesa 2:90 through an Orange 4x12.

Will the aforementioned bass rig be enough to share the stage with my Axe Fx rig, or will I need another cab like a 1x15 to balance things out?

We aren't professional by any means so it would be safe to assume that the gigs we will be playing will be FOH for vocals and drums only.. The 4x10 cab is also ported so the low end handling is pretty good.

I've run a tonehammer 350 into a 4x10 and easily kept up with an orange 4x12 and vox into an orange 2x12, you should be a ok with the matrix into that as long as it isn't a huge venue

If you try it out and feel that a single 4x10 isn't cutting it, don't add a 1x15. Add another 4x10. But, more than likely a single 4x10 will be fine from a volume perspective, though you may still run into "I can't hear me" due to many other issues :)
