Ok, so I'm curious about this.
I'm going to be shooting IR's of some cabinets and want to clear the question up of an IR verses a Tone Match. I'll be doing the mic+DI technique for the IR capture, so that clears that up. But if I want to Tone match my live amp, and mic up the cabinet, wouldn't you essentially be grabbing the IR once you export the Tone Match to the User Cabs? im guessing it's just the influence of the amplifier, but I just want to clarify this.
